Views of Friendship

Aries: Friendship is a pathway to adventures. They see kindness as an invitation, and they don’t recognize friendship as a commitment, but rather an opportunity. This may make friendships shortlived, but for them they are always ready to make new connections.
Taurus: These people see friendship as a gain scenario. They love to give, help, and love, but need the same amount (if not more) in return. This doesn’t make them bad, or selfish, just a set of standards. They show their platonic love by being affectionate, with gifts and little routines.
Gemini: In this case, they see platonic relationships as the best they can have. As a person of information, they love the constant communication that’s held between friends, and show their friendship by keeping others in the same loop they’re in!
Cancer: Friendship is the role of the maternal. They make sure all the ducks are in a row, and ensure that everyone is as safe & happy as possible. They give emotional support over physical, however.
Leo: Loyalty is their main show of affection, in any relationship, but most importantly friendship. While it may not appear that way to some, people with Leo Suns make tons of friends this way, and have a hard time setting the tape when it comes to deciding who’s side to be on. They show a lot of kindness in an attempt to not be on either side, but often forget that just because you’re not meddling, doesn’t mean you aren’t involved, and that sticking to the sidelines may be making things worse.
Virgo: Friendship is the role of the caretaker. They ensure everyone is able to have fun. They see kindness in friendship as a responsiblity that is expected of them.
Libra: These people make platonic commitments to a large number of people, making having plans with them hard to achieve if you aren’t in their “inner circle.” They show degrees of platonic affection, often ranging from always making time for people, to only the occasional Facebook comment or Retween for others. All the same, they consider them friends. All the same, they love them & always wish for the best.
Scorpio: The idea of friendship here is a gateway to trust. These people open their hearts rarely, and many will assume they’re friends with a Scorpio wrongly. They have a close group of people (often spanning 1-5), and only consider those few “true” friends. Beyond that group, they’re aware of an understanding between people, shared adventures and memories, but often their language of affection is that of an almost-obsession. Once you become friends with a Scorpio, you know you’re friends with a Scorpio. They immediately assume they’re your automatic bestfriends, and show an unbridled passion towards that similar to your own. Loyalty is a given here - as long as you’re true friends.
Sagittarius: Fire Signs have a tendency to build friendships & burn them just as quickly! Sagittarius in particular tends to build beautiful, bright friendships just to leave them behind. They show their platonic affection often through understandings of plights, adventures, and by helping you learn & grow from past mistakes. Often people don’t know what happened with their relationship with Sagittarius’, as there is little confrontation (& if there is, it often isn’t pretty). These people tend to simply leave once they feel their purpose is complete, or the friendship has stopped being beneficial. They’ll only detail this if confronted, however.
Capricorn: Friendship is another job. Not in the way that it is boring, but that it is a commitment in which you give your time & effort into. These people see the kindness in friendship to be that of a duty - it is your job to make sure that these people are safe, taken care of, and feel loved.
Aquarius: Another flighty sign, Aquarius shows their affection few & far between. Often making friends quickly, they’ll love deeply for a short period of time. These people see their friendships as something to cherish, a holy grail of adventures, and love to hang out in large groups! They thrive with many people, but you can tell the true level of friendship you have with them when you’re alone. Does the vibe stay strong?
Pisces: The last of the flighty signs, Pisces builds similarly deep connections, only to forget of their existance through isolated periods. These people, however, will return to those they care about often, and hear them whenever they’re needed. Empathetic & compassionate, Pisces’ show their affection through a focused & listening ear — something they do not possess often.
